On the occasion of the 2024 edition of the contemporary art fair Miart, Atipografia presents a solo booth by the Istraeliana artist Yulia Iosilzon (b. 1992).

 

Yulia Iosilzon works with painting and ceramics. Her figurative paintings on transparent fabric are portals to vivid, dreamlike worlds rooted in both ancient mythologies and contemporary social issues. Yulia's visual references are wide-ranging: the artist explores the Jewish iconography of her origins, draws on the cartoon imagery of her childhood and representations of paradise.

 The works created for the exhibition examine the relationships between power, gender and desire, playing with references and associations.
